Arts Education at the Armory

SCHOOL OUTREACH

As part of the Armory’s educational outreach, classes from elementary, middle and high school are invited to experience the Armory’s exhibits or performances first hand and participate in interactive workshops led by members of the Armory Artist Corps- a group comprised of some of New York City’s most sought after teaching artists in the fields of Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts. Participating classroom teachers receive curriculum materials designed to enhance the students’ engagement with the exhibit or performance in advance of the visit.
