Part American palace, part industrial shed, Park Avenue Armory is dedicated to supporting unconventional works in the visual and performing arts that need non-traditional spaces for their full realization, enabling artists to create and audiences to experience epic and adventurous presentations that cannot be mounted elsewhere in New York City.

The Producer is part of a small team that is responsible for producing all of the Armory’s programs, which annually include 6 full-scale Drill Hall productions and new commissions, as well as 20 regular programs, such as recitals, artists’ studios, and artists’ talks, among others.  Key responsibilities include working with artists and/or companies to meet immediate and longer-term needs that pertain to each production, hiring and managing temporary production staff, managing and executing schedules and contract terms, and serving as primary organizational liaison on assigned productions.

The Producer reports to the Chief Artistic Producer and works in collaboration with the General Manager, the Armory’s Programming and Production teams, and temporary production staff.
