For just $30, enjoy a delicious pre-show Indian meal created by chef Gaurav Anand from New York Times Critics Pick restaurant Moti Mahal Delux. Held in the Armory’s elegant Board of Officers Room, this authentic Indian meal allows theater-goers to be fully immersed in the world created in A Room in India. The meal includes:
- Three vegetarian entrees including: Paneer Tikka Masala (marinated paneer cheese served in a spiced gravy) Dal Tadka (cooked lentils which are tempered with ghee fried spices & herbs), Aloo Dum (baby potatoes deep fried and then cooked in delicious gravy of curd and traditional Indian spices), mixed vegetables, spinach and potatoes
- Rice and an assortment of breads and naan
- An assortment of Indian pastries
- Beer, wine, and water
Meals must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance of your performance date. Food service begins at 5:30pm and ends at 6:30pm for evening performances (and begins at 12:30pm and ends at 1:30pm for matinees)
