Two-time Grammy Award-winning Attacca Quartet are recognized and acclaimed as one of the most versatile and outstanding ensembles of the moment, gliding through traditional classical repertoire to electronica, video game music, and contemporary collaborations. Formed at The Juilliard School, they have become one of the world’s most innovative and respected ensembles with performances at leading concert halls and festivals around the world. They come to the Armory with a wide-ranging program of classic quartets by Bartók and Haydn, quartet-arranged interpretations of signal works for other instrumentation, and the North American premiere of “Daisy”—an Armory-commissioned new composition by David Lang.
