Recital Series: Emily D’Angelo

“Emily D’Angelo has the opera world’s ear.”
The Globe and Mail

Internationally recognized Emily D’Angelo will present a program that will highlight pieces from her debut album enargeia on Deutsche Grammophon, including songs by Sarah Kirkland Snider, Missy Mazzoli, Hildegard von Bingen, and Hildur Guðnadóttir. D’Angelo’s ongoing collaborations with today’s contemporary composers have become a trademark for this trailblazing artist. D’Angelo is the recipient of a 2020 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award, the Birgit Nilsson Prize, and the Monini Prize from the Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi.

The Recital Series is supported in part by The Reed Foundation and the Howard & Sarah D. Solomon Foundation.
