Recital Series × WQXR
Park Avenue Armory and WQXR invite listeners to enjoy the thoughtfully curated programs of lieder, art song, and contemporary works by some of today’s most exciting musical interpreters through their new collaborative radio segment, Park Avenue Armory Recital Series. Hosted by John Schaefer and airing on WQXR 105.9FM and at www.wqxr.org on Saturday evenings in August and September 2025, this show features behind-the-scenes interviews with celebrated musicians and their intimate performances in the Armory’s historic period rooms. This collaboration with WQXR marks the first time that Armory recitals have been recorded.
