Benefit Dinner Pre-Sale | Romeo & Juliet Suite
On behalf of Park Avenue Armory, we are thrilled to invite you to celebrate the highly anticipated New York premiere of Romeo & Juliet Suite by celebrated choreographer, director, and filmmaker Benjamin Millepied.
Blending dance, theater, and film, this site-specific take reimagines Prokofiev’s iconic ballet score through a contemporary lens. The dance-drama exceeds the parameters of a traditional stage, with concurrent scenes broadcast live to an onstage cinema screen for audiences to follow the action within the Wade Thompson Drill Hall and throughout the Armory. Each performance features a different cast as the star-crossed lovers, departing from traditional gender norms to highlight diverse couples in a universal celebration of love. The resulting work reimagines the tragic tale through a modern and original lens, rediscovering its beauty in a fresh and inspired interpretation.
Join us to mark this momentous occasion at an intimate Benefit Dinner on Monday, March 2. Guests will enjoy an elegant, seated dinner with Benjamin Millepied at 6:00pm, followed by the Opening Night performance. All proceeds will directly support the Armory’s artistic programming as well as their arts education programs, which serve more than 5,000 New York City public school students each year.
Packages and tickets will be available in 2026, but this form can be used to make advance donations. Thank you for your generosity, and we look forward to seeing you there!
