Health and Safety Protocols

To help ensure the health and safety of our audience, staff, and artists during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Armory will be implementing the following policies:

• All patrons are required to wear masks while inside the Armory. No mask, no entry. If you do not have an acceptable mask (including but not limited to cloth-based face coverings and disposable masks that cover both the nose and mouth), the Armory will provide one for your use. In accordance with Department of Health guidance, bandanas, buffs, and gaiters are not acceptable face coverings.

• 72 hours prior to the performance patrons will be issued a secure COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire via email. Tickets will not be issued until we receive your fulfilled and completed survey.

• All patrons will have their temperature checked before entering the theater with a contactless thermometer. Patrons with a temperature greater than or equal to 100.4°F will be denied entry to the performance area. Temperature data will not be maintained by the Armory.

• Depending on size of audience and government regulation, audiences may receive on-site rapid testing. Anyone with a positive test result will not attend the performance and will receive an automatic ticket refund to the original method of payment. The information about testing requirements are on the landing page for each production and in the production-specific communications. By purchasing a ticket, you and each member of your party consent to be tested for COVID-19 on site at Park Avenue Armory by Elevation Health and acknowledge that the results will be shared with the Armory.

• In lieu of on-site COVID-19 test, Park Avenue Armory accepts proof of full vaccination prior to the performance date. You must present a government-issued photo ID as well as printed or digital proof of vaccination (a photo of your vaccination card or documents is acceptable). Park Avenue Armory also accepts New York State’s Excelsior Pass as proof of vaccination. Names must match on the photo ID and vaccination documents.

• All performers, crew, and staff are COVID-19 tested according to the strict protocol required by New York State.

• Patrons and staff must maintain physical distancing of 6 feet from others at all times. Staff provides specific direction for audience movement, and there are physical distancing markers and signage to ensure 6 feet distancing..

• There is no physical Box Office or Will Call at the Armory until further notice. All tickets will be electronic and must be purchased in advance of every program. The building will only be open during designated performance times for ticket holders. The Box Office will be available by phone at (212) 933-5812 or by email at Monday through Friday, from 10am to 6pm.

• Should you require handicap accessible entrance or seating, please contact the Box Office at (212) 933-5812 or

All house programs will be digital. Please look out for a pre-show email with links to the digital house program.

Park Avenue Armory cares about the health and safety of our audience and staff. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. Those attending performances at the Armory do so at their own risk of such exposure and agree to abide by Park Avenue Armory's Health & Safety Protocols.
