The final day of the Festival will begin with compilation of unique artists that Philip Glass has assembled and represent the forward momentum of contemporary music. Included are: Nico Muhly, an astonishing composer who is redefining the compositional field of new and classical music; the musically eclectic and radiant Tirtha, who meld the musical forms of Jazz and Indian music in ways that only the trio is capable of accomplishing; and Tania Leon, whose works as a composer and conductor have been presented worldwide. Singer-Songwriter, Zack Glass, will be joined on stage with Rubén González and Canadian fiddler Ashley MacIsaac, as they present new compositions.
